Notes
Madeleine Nevin won a scholarship from The New Hope School to study painting with John Folinsbee in the summer of 1942. She had graduated from high school and was attending the Moore College of Art in the fall. They had a very cordial relationship and he kept in touch with her, and her family for many years.
