Notes
In a letter to Arthur Dayton discussing Outskirts of Trenton and Shad Boat, both of which Dayton had recently purchased, Folinsbee noted "I am taking the liberty of sending you a small etching which might prove more amusing as an entry [in the Dayton archives] than this letter. It has slight artistic value, but is a small plate of some old buildings in the town made for practice in acid biting and printing. J.F.F."
