Bourre Valley presents the same view as the the smaller Bourre Gardens (JFF.307). Bourre Gardens has a higher horizon line which enables the viewer to see more of the gardens and village; Bourre Valley has a lower horizon line so that the gardens in the foreground are cropped, presenting a larger view of the valley and the Cher River.
