Notes
In 1949, Folinsbee and Ruth purchased a an old farmhouse and fourteen acres in Wiscasset, Maine, at an intersection called Murphy's Corner. "The Corner" became the family's summer home. Folinsbee and Peter Cook first shared a studio in the shed seen to the right of the house. Later, a purpose-built studio, with a large north-facing window, was built. The studio can be seen at the left.
