Acorrding to a letter accompanying the painting attached verso and dates February 22, 2000: This painting was part of the U.S.A. State Department's Art in Embassies Program, Courtesy of Newman Galleries, Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia. It resided for a time in the Embassy of the United States of America, in Amman, Jordan, home of Ambassador Mr. William J. Burns. Mr. Burns added that this work by Folinsbee in particular provided "a wonderful means of sharing with the people of Jordan, a taste of the richness and beauty of the American Landscape".
