Notes
This is believed to be a painting Folinsbee completed in 1915 and which was exhibited in the Folinsbee/Leith-Ross show at Louis Katz Gallery in New York. According to the review of that exhibition in the New York Evening World, Noon Shadows depicts "a rambling house and red barn. There are some grand old trees in full foliage, and these cast delightful shadows that are delightfully expressed."
