Commissioned by Mrs. Frederic Nelson Woodbrook, Baltimore,MD ($200). This is a portrait of her Daughter, Alice Nelson, painted when she was 6 years old. She was later known as Alice Furland. During her lifetime, she became a well known writer for National Public Radio.
